Visual: Students will brainstorm their previous
knowledge of family vocabulary words.
They will do this by the teacher writing FAMILY in bubble letter
on the
chalk board or on a mural piece of paper.
The students will brainstorm words they think of when they hear
the word
family, and write those words inside the
word family. The next task that the
students will have is to make a collage of whatever they want that
reminds them
of their family. All the students will
put their collages together, once completed, to create a huge diverse
family of
families.
