Mathematics can sometimes be a scary subject in the eyes of a child. I have grown to love mathematics and teaching it. One of the best ways to enjoy mathematics is to love it and to make it fun. Using manipulatives and doing hands-on activities is the best way to do math without even knowing you are doing it. I cannot wait to bring hands-on math into my classroom while I am student teaching and as I grow throughout my teaching career.
